My Story

Hello, my name is Phillip Bridgeman. I am an Information Technology professional based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and a graduate of the Business Information Technology program at RRC Polytech.

My interests include cloud computing, application support, databases, systems administration, networking, and software development. Through my education and professional experience, I have developed skills in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, cloud technologies, and modern development tools. I also hold the CompTIA A+ certification and continue to expand my knowledge through professional certifications and hands-on projects.

My experience includes customer service, technical troubleshooting, database administration, software development, documentation, network infrastructure support, and supporting business processes through technology.

I currently work for the City of Winnipeg and maintain a meal program database for a local non-profit organization. These experiences have strengthened my ability to solve technical problems, support users, improve processes, and deliver practical technology solutions in real-world environments.

Living with low vision has given me a unique perspective on accessibility and problem-solving. It has reinforced the importance of designing technology that is usable, reliable, and accessible to everyone.

I am passionate about continuous learning and regularly build projects and home lab environments to expand my knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and enterprise technologies.

Outside of technology, I enjoy following the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose, reading novels and audiobooks, walking for fitness, and spending time with friends and family. My goal is to build a career in cloud computing, application support, and enterprise technology while helping organizations solve real-world problems through reliable, accessible, and effective technology solutions.
